Reflection
In Radical Acceptance, Tara Brach invites us to meet ourselves fully, embracing both our tenderness and our turmoil with loving presence. She encourages us to soften into our experience rather than judging or resisting it, reminding us that genuine peace emerges when we welcome our whole selves. Through radical acceptance, we shed the weight of shame and fear, finding in that compassionate openness a path toward true liberation.
An Invitation
Today, I invite you to practice a brief version of the RAIN technique for 3 minutes: Recognize one emotion that is present, name it aloud, notice the narrative that this emotion carries, and investigate the emotion with curiosity and compassion. For a more indepth look- check out RAIN Method
A Benediction
May you greet yourself with honest kindness, even when discomfort arises.
May you recognize that embracing your imperfections is the soil from which compassion grows.
May you trust that in acknowledging what is, you open the door to deeper healing.
And may you know that in gentle acceptance, you reclaim your own wholeness.
